A major turning point came when DALIMED\u2019s developed a 3-Step Autoinjector that was eventually selected by a top 10 global pharma company for use with one of the world\u2019s leading blockbuster drugs at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This decision was driven by clear technological advantages over competing solutions. One of the most critical differentiators was DALIMED\u2019s innovative mechanism for shock absorption \u2014 significantly reducing mechanical stress\/impact on the glass syringe during activation, thereby improving safety, reliability, and user experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond core performance, the device underwent extensive customization to meet the pharmaceutical company\u2019s specific requirements. Particular attention was given to usability and shape, as many patients using that drug suffer from rheumatoid arthritis \u2014often experiencing reduced hand strength and finger deformities. The result was a highly ergonomic design, tailored to enable safe and comfortable self-administration even under physical limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Design to Mass Production<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DALIMED\u2019s involvement extended far beyond concept development. The company led comprehensive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) processes, ensuring that the product\u2019s design is optimized and could be efficiently and consistently produced at scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Building on this success, the same platform was relaunched in 2021, featuring a redesigned external appearance, for use with another leading novel biologic. This demonstrated not only the robustness of the original platform, but also its adaptability to evolving branding, user, and therapeutic needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
